EVE Power NF155L

The new battery cell EVE NF155L is a prismatic sodium-ion battery cell based on NFPP technology, ideally suited for stationary energy storage, commercial storage systems, and modular battery systems.
With a capacity of 155 Ah, a cell energy of 435 Wh, and a wide discharge temperature range from -40°C to +60°C, the NF155L represents a safe, long-lasting, and future-oriented alternative to conventional lithium cells.
They feature a very low internal resistance and good mutual voltage consistency.
NFPP is a very safe technology, with no self-ignition, fire, or explosion. The self-discharge rate is very low. There is no memory effect – cells can be recharged at any state of discharge.

All EVE cells are thoroughly tested in the factories before distribution, both during production and before shipment. The EVE brand is known for the high quality of its cells, which are primarily Grade A.

  • Aluminum casing (enclosure)
  • High performance up to 1C, 155 A discharge
  • Provides high current at peak discharge (25 °C ± 2 °C)
  • Up to 6000 cycles (depending on operating conditions and depth of discharge)
  • Suitable for energy storage and solar applications

Operating Instructions

  • Always charge cells to full voltage before first use.
  • Initial charging must be performed at a low current of max. 0.5 C – i.e. 77.5 A for a 155 Ah cell.
  • Protect cell terminals from contamination, damage, and short circuits.
  • Cells must be monitored and protected against deep discharge and overcharge.
  • Charging and discharging must be carried out under supervision.

Initial Charging
Cells are pre-charged by the manufacturer to a conservation charge (typically 30–50%). Before first use, the cells must be charged at a low current. The first charge should not exceed 0.5 C – for example, for a 155 Ah cell this is 77.5 A.
When initially charging multiple cells, connect them in parallel and the charger outputs should be connected to both ends of the parallel cell rows.

We recommend using chargers specifically designed for LiFePO4 cells. The first charge and initial balancing of the entire pack is an important step toward achieving a long service life. Alternatively, you can use a regulated (laboratory) power supply as a tool for initial charging.
