ELERIX EX-T33K

ELERIX EX-T33K Lithium-titanate-oxide cell. Extremely powerful, yet small LTO cell with a capacity of 33 Ah. The advantage of these cells is a lower operating voltage (and the resulting greater safety) and very fast charging and discharging. Battery tests show that these cells can be safely charged with currents over 5 C and discharged with up to 6 C.

LTO is a very safe technology, without spontaneous combustion, fire and explosion. The self-discharge rate is very low. There is no memory effect - cells can be recharged in any state of discharge.
All ELERIX cells are thoroughly tested in Tier 1 factories prior to distribution, including during production and prior to shipment. The ELERIX brand is distinguished by the high quality of its cells, which are primarily Class A.

  • Aluminium housing (case)
  • Extreme Power up to 6 C (200 A) discharge
  • Provides high currents at peak discharge (300 A)
  • 16000 cycles / 30 years lifetime
  • No toxic chemicals
  • Extreme Temperature Range

Operating Instructions

  • Always charge the cells to full voltage before first use.
  • Initial charging must be carried out at a low current of max. 0.5C - i.e. 15 A for a 30 Ah cell.
  • Protect the cell terminals from dirt, damage and short circuits.
  • Cells must be monitored and protected against deep discharge and overcharging.
  • Charging and discharging must be supervised.

Initial charge
Cells are pre-charged by the manufacturer to a conservation charge (typically 30-50%). Cells should be charged at low current before first use. The first charge should not exceed 0.5 C - e.g. 15 A for a 30 Ah cell.
When charging multiple cells for the first time, connect them in parallel and the charger outputs should be connected to both ends of the parallel rows of cells.

We recommend using chargers specifically made for LiFePO4 cells. The first charge and initial balancing of the entire set is an important step in achieving long life.
Alternatively, you can use a regulated (laboratory) power supply as a tool for initial charging.
