ELERIX EX-L628
Industrial lithium cell with high energy density and capacity of 628 Ah (2009 Wh), manufactured using safe LiFePO4 technology. The battery is made from high-quality materials and contains no toxic chemicals, ensuring a long service life.
LiFePO4 is a very safe technology, with no risk of spontaneous combustion, fire, or explosion. The self-discharge rate is very low. There is no memory effect – cells can be recharged at any state of discharge.
All ELERIX cells are thoroughly tested in Tier 1 factories before distribution, both during production and prior to shipment. The ELERIX brand is characterized by the high quality of its cells, which are primarily Grade A.
- Aluminum casing (housing)
- High performance up to 0.5C, max. 300 A discharge
- Provides high current during peak discharge (0.6C, 400 A)
- 6000 cycles / 15-year lifespan
- No toxic chemicals
- Suitable for energy storage and solar applications

How to connect cells
See the use of long and short connectors for EX-L628.

Operating Instructions
- Always charge cells to full voltage before first use.
- Initial charging must be performed at a low current of max. 0.5C – i.e. 300 A for a 628 Ah cell.
- Protect cell terminals from contamination, damage, and short circuits.
- Cells must be monitored and protected against deep discharge and overcharging.
- Charging and discharging must be carried out under supervision.
Initial Charging
Cells are pre-charged by the manufacturer to a storage charge (typically 30–50%). Before first use, cells must be charged at a low current. The first charge should not exceed 0.5C – for example, for a 628 Ah cell this is 300 A.
When initially charging multiple cells, connect them in parallel and the charger outputs should be connected to both ends of the parallel cell rows.
We recommend using chargers specifically designed for LiFePO4 cells. The first charge and initial balancing of the entire pack is an important step toward achieving a long service life.
Alternatively, a regulated (laboratory) power supply can be used as a tool for initial charging.
